FFD – Fashion for Democracy sees itself as a catalyst, working with regional and international partners to create positive impact. It offers a cross-format, discursive space for envisioning, actively developing, and co-shaping a viable future for fashion and textiles—one that enables genuine democratisation and sustainable, fair, and culturally rich access to fashion, thereby enhancing quality of life and well-being across the entire value chain.

With FFD, we explore how fashion and textiles can act as drivers for genuine democratic, participatory, and regenerative transformation. The aim is to research and test a democratic, sustainable, and inclusive roadmap for fashion. During an inspiring agora-style gathering, 25 to 30 selected guests from the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region and international voices engage in open dialogue and creative, collaborative mapping. The goal: to discover new ways in which fair and inclusive fashion can sustainably strengthen togetherness within our society.
