- Fritten für Frankfurt
- Planungstreffen
Bockenheim außer Haus und Studio Jonathan Radetz
...
Following our networking event with interested participants on April 18th at Café Rabe, we now want to move into the concrete planning phase with both new and committed members: How many "Fritten" are needed where? How can they be configured and set up for the selected locations? And what else is required?
Do you want to play an active role in shaping your neighborhood? As part of World Design Capital 2026, our neighborhood initiative Bockenheim außer Haus cordially invites other initiatives, open groups, and dedicated individuals to plan and build urban furniture together—creating more space for encounters, relaxation, and vibrant life in Frankfurt’s public areas. No prior craft skills are necessary—ideas, curiosity, and the joy of working together are all you need. The building process is professionally guided, collaborative, creative, and open to all generations. Our two building workshops, which will follow the planning phase this summer, will result in customized "Fritten" solutions. Beyond the construction, we will share our knowledge—both our experience as a neighborhood initiative working in public spaces and practical skills with drills, saws, and planes. Every helping hand is welcome. And, of course, there will be fries!
No registration required, open to everyone! Fries and drinks are available for a donation. If you have any questions about the process so far, feel free to contact us at: post@bockenheimausserhaus.de
