We are launching a poster campaign in public spaces in Frankfurt. Feminist perspectives are being presented in public spaces that are otherwise dominated by commercial and political messages.
Designer Evelyn Siegmund and the women artists’ collective HÉROINE have formed a creative partnership and are collaborating to develop a poster for this project.
Passersby are encouraged to reflect on their surroundings and broader social issues. The campaign culminates in an exhibition where high-quality versions of the posters, produced using the risograph printing process, are displayed and sold as a limited edition.
HÉROINE is a collective of female artists and a project space focused on collective practice and highlighting women’s perspectives. Through discursive formats, HÉROINE creates spaces for collaborative work based on solidarity.
Evelyn Siegmund is a freelance graphic designer and musician from Dresden.
