Offenes Atelier Druckwerkstatt: Fassaden in Farbe

Just under 200 years ago, Wiesbaden began its transformation from a farming town into a modern spa resort for the wealthy and the nobility. Magnificent facades, sweeping ornamentation, and tropical vines shaped the character of the “World Spa City” and conveyed a new sense of social identity.

Together, we’ll experiment with simple (everyday) materials in the print workshop and create our own facade artworks using a wide variety of printing tools and homemade printing plates.

The open print workshop is a space for artistic exploration where everyone is invited to join in! So… come on in!

• Free—for adults and children ages 6 and up—walk-in—no registration required
• The workshop will be led by Nina Rauber.
• The Open Studio is a programme run by the educational department of the sam-Stadtmuseum am Markt and forms part of the ‘Glasernes Museum’ at WerkRaum Wiesbaden; dates and topics vary.
