Mountainbiking im Stadtwald: Talk & Ausfahrt #3

Together with the DIMB, German Mountain Bike Association, we’ll discuss mountain biking in the city forest: open spaces, consideration for others, rules, and how different uses of the forest can coexist.Then it’s time for some hands-on action: On a guided group mountain bike ride, we’ll explore the city forest on two wheels.

Who Owns the Forest? is part of our special focus on On the Move. After all, physical activity doesn’t just take place on streets and bike paths: The city forest is also a shared space, for nature, recreation, sports, and various forms of physical activity.

Programme:

5:00 p.m.: Coffee & discussion

Followed by: a guided mountain bike ride on technically easy trails in the city forest to the Platte and back, approx. 2 hours of riding time, approx. 500 meters of elevation gain

Please bring your own mountain bike, bike helmet, and a light for the ride home.
