Inklusiver After-Work-Treff für Frauen der VdK

How about a nice get-together after work? Why not join us for our 4th inclusive after-work get-together for women at the Werkraum of the Stadtmuseum in Wiesbaden?

As always, women with and without disabilities who are interested in meeting up, chatting, sharing ideas, and viewing interesting exhibitions together are invited.

In the Werkraum, we’ll have the opportunity to hear an insightful lecture by Dr. Tanja Bernsau on the topic “Collected Passion: Women as Patrons of the Arts.”

Behind many major art collections, museums, and artists’ careers were women whose influence has long been underestimated. They financed art, saved works, built collections, established networks—and wrote cultural history, often behind the scenes. In her lecture, art historian Dr. Tanja Bernsau will shine a spotlight on some of these female art patrons.

Participation (including a beverage, light refreshments, admission, and the lecture) is free of charge. The event is being held in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Office of the State Capital of Wiesbaden.

The number of seats is limited to 40 women. Registration is required. Anyone interested in attending should register with the representative for women’s affairs at the Wiesbaden District Association by emailing anja.beisiegel@vdk.de or calling 06124 726 1018.
