Hoch hinaus – eine Stadtführung in einfacher Sprache durch Frankfurts Skyline!
Lebenshilfe Frankfurt am Main e.V. und Deutsches Architektur Museum
During the tour, we look at the tall buildings. We discover interesting places. We also notice exciting details. This way, we get to know Frankfurt better. The tour is designed so that everyone can take part easily. The language and the routes are simple. That way, everyone can understand and reach everything well. Everyone can join in!
Frankfurt is a city of diversity; and this is reflected in its architecture and in the stories connected to it.
At the Skyline Tour by Lebenshilfe Frankfurt in cooperation with the German Architecture Museum (DAM), a variety of voices are heard. People with and without disabilities share their perspectives on the city, making architecture and design tangible in their own unique ways.
Together, we look at Frankfurt’s high-rises and discover special places and fascinating details. Between glass facades and urban everyday life, a panorama emerges that lets the familiar appear in a new light.
The tour is designed to be as accessible as possible. Language, routes, and content are chosen so that everyone can take part – not to simplify, but to open up access. Architecture and design speak many languages, and here they are made both audible and visible.
Whether it’s your first encounter with Frankfurt or a new look at a familiar city, this tour invites you to discover the skyline anew – with open eyes and ears.
