Using traditional craft techniques and recipes passed down from the Middle Ages, you will weave your own bracelets and pendants in this open workshop—while experimenting with artistic combinations of colors and shapes.

Before the invention of zippers, Velcro, and spandex, people in the Middle Ages held their clothing together with ribbons and belts. These ribbons often served as precious decorative items in dazzling colors and intricate patterns. They were made using the finger-loop braiding technique, which allows one to weave artistic decorative ribbons using only thread and one’s own two hands.
