Want to get involved and make a difference? It sounds tempting. But in a democracy, that means finding majorities, discussing issues, listening, tolerating differing views and reaching a consensus. A diversity of voices enriches the debate, but it also makes the path to a decision more complicated.
The echo:human workshop poses the question: How can we, as a society, come together again in the future? What obstacles must we, as a society, overcome along the way? And what stories do you want people to still be telling about you in the year 2126? Guided by questions like these, we’ll work together to sketch out possible future scenarios.
The echo:us workshop series is dedicated to the collaborative development of democratic future scenarios. Would you like to explore the future too? You don’t need any prior knowledge to take part.
