DJ Stelze

Best known for building a jungle renaissance in the Frankfurt area this raregroove enthusiast appears still relatively new to jungle scene as a whole.

@outernational.lunki aka DJ Stelze loves all things collaborative and grassroots, showing his DIY roots and the each one teach one approach. At his bimonthly residency „Bass Saturnalia“ @Silbergold local and international talents are invited to showcase all things hardcore jungle. He is a serious vinyl collector and also produces tunes and dubs himself. After his first releases on Chords4Kicks Records and Cx Records he is now focussed on a four track EP release. DJ Stelze is a ruffneck Junglist from Offenbach Germany, known for his unfiltered approach to mixing and selecting in a timeless manner. In his sets, a vibe-crafting mix and blend style meets the occasional fader cut to make the crowd move in an especially free manner. He draws from old and new, analog and digital and is known to throw some spectacular curve balls. His Sets usually span from raregroove and soulfull ragga infused tunes to atmospheric deep lushness and even some darkside mentasm or technnoid breaks. In addition to his Jungle focused Sets, DJ Stelze is playing eclectic open format sets, drawing from Dub, Jazz, Krautrock or Kosmische Musik, Funk, Hip Hop, Yachtrock or even Balearics. In this context he played numerous Gigs in Germany and Switzerland, sometimes spanning up to six hours.
