WDC 2026 | Community Workshop und Netzwerken

Rethinking Living Spaces Together: Design shapes the way we live and breaks down barriers. Following our successful kickoff on June 12, 2026, we would now like to further explore the findings we’ve developed. The central question continues to guide us: What does a home look like where all people—with and without disabilities—can live independently? As part of WDC 2026, we cordially invite you to join us in further developing the i.hub concept and adapting it to your needs. We’ll meet again in the inspiring atmosphere of the WerkRaum in Wiesbaden.

Here’s what you can expect:

Building on the results: We’ll build on the first workshop to gather your specific, inclusive housing preferences for the i.hub project.
Concepts for everyone: You can choose between two parallel workshops—one in simple language and one in standard language.
Interactive planning: Together, we’ll further develop ideas. For us, one thing is certain: Everyone should live exactly as they wish.
Actively shape the future: We’re looking for dedicated collaborators and future residents for our housing project.
Founding an Association: To bring our ideas to life, we will soon be founding the association “Wohnen mit Mehrwert.”

Accessibility: All on-site facilities are fully accessible.
Language Options: The entire event will be conducted in both simple language and standard language.
Assistance: Personal assistance will not be provided on-site—but you are more than welcome to bring your companions.
Free of Charge: Participation in the workshop is completely free for everyone.
