2og:dondorf & Spirax

2og:dondorf is an open space for culture, education, and community coordinated by ort3 gUG, located on the second floor of the former Dondorf printing house in Frankfurt Bockenheim.

During the building's temporary use by the Schirn Kunsthalle, initiatives from academia, memory culture, the arts, and civil society work together here under one roof. Together, they are developing a public programme of workshops, exhibitions, discussions, research formats, and cultural events.

At its heart lies a commercial-free community space functioning as a "Third Place", enabling exchange, participation, and collective knowledge-sharing. The project views itself as a model for shared infrastructure, cooperative urban development, and the close integration of research, cultural practice, and the local neighbourhood on the path towards the Bockenheim Kulturcampus.

Spirax e. V. brings together music, community, and curated archival work.

On the second floor of the former Dondorf printing house, Spirax develops projects that strengthen creative participation, give voice to cultural diversity, and bring people together.
