25 Jahre Talents – Eröffnungsfeier

As part of WDC 2026, the Museum Angewandte Kunst is presenting a special exhibition to mark the 25th anniversary of Messe Frankfurt’s Talents support programme.

Under the title Ambiente: 25 Years of Talents – Local Perspectives, ten former Talents from the region will each present a selected product or product series that exemplifies their design development and illustrates their perspectives on the guiding theme Design for Democracy – Atmosphere for a Better Life.

Programme:

From 18:00 Arrival of guests and welcome reception in the Forum, with drinks and snacks
18:10 Opening remarks by Detlef Braun (Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt)
18:20 Panel discussion: How does design shape the region – and how does the region shape design?
Participants: Kai Linke (Studio Kai Linke), Betty Montarou (Atelier Betty Montarou)
21:00 End of the event

Messe Frankfurt is the initiator of the exhibition and presents the 25th anniversary of the Talents programme as part of Ambiente. The Museum Angewandte Kunst serves as the exhibition venue and partner within the framework of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026.
