The funding agreement with WDC has been signed, and the project is ready to be realized—but the contract contains terms such as “Mittelabruf” and “Verausgabungszeitraum,” as well as “Allgemeine Nebenbestimmungen-Projekt,” and the budget plan refers to the Hessian Travel Expenses Act.
In this workshop, Martin Bien, covering the funding administration at WDC 2026, will provide an overview of the general framework for public funding and WDC 2026’s funding practices in particular. The workshop is divided into three parts:
• Part #1: Legal framework of grant law
• Part #2: Practical procedures within the WDC 2026 funding environment (Admin Portal)
• Part #3: Open Q&A session on specific cases
addressees
The workshop is aimed at WDC-funded projects and cooperation partners who are receiving public funds, need to manage and account for them, and/or would like to gain a more concrete understanding of the WDC 2026 funding environment.
Grantees and partners who have questions exclusively related to project-specific accounting should attend the biweekly consultation hours to address these issues.
