Zukunftsort Bestand: Standortentwicklung am Wiesbadener Rheinufer
Industrial history meets New Work on the banks of the Rhine in Wiesbaden: How can new demands on the working world be combined with the legacy of the industrial age?
Using the industrial site on the banks of the Rhine in Wiesbaden as an example, we would like to discuss strategies and approaches for the reuse and further development of former industrial buildings with experts from academia and practice. The former power plant hall and the post-war modernist high-rise designed by architect Ernst Neufert, with their unique histories, offer inspiration for reflection and new perspectives.
At the same time, we want to focus on the cultural heritage of industrial culture in Wiesbaden and make it visible to the public.
Through public tours and expert presentations, we will provide insights into the listed buildings on the Rhine riverbank and Wiesbaden's industrial history.
Registration is required and will be announced here.
