Women’s Design Academy

For WDC 2026, the Women*s Design Academy invites you to a series of hands-on workshops, a lecture and a get-together afterwards.

The event begins with two workshops: through open experimentation, we develop an awareness of tools and tangible results, of change and scalability. Together, we will develop spontaneous design solutions that use artistic means to strengthen gender equality and open up new perspectives. The subsequent lecture by artist, author and type designer Charlotte Rohde offers a further insight into the intertwined concepts of gender and design.

To round off the event, we’ll gather for a get-together with cold drinks in and outside the gallery.

The Hanna Bekker vom Rath Gallery on Frankfurt’s Braubachstraße provides the ideal cultural setting for the event, not least thanks to its history.
