Wheel of Frankfurt

There’s a huge wheel of fortune at the Hauptwache. But here, you don’t win sweets – instead, you win artistic experiences for the ears, eyes or touch.

How do we perceive public spaces? What might happen if we let our imaginations run wild? What unsettles us, what enchants us: a choir appearing out of the blue, a friendly monster, homemade treats, or two vulvas cycling past on a tandem? The artistic activities triggered by spinning the wheel of fortune draw on interdisciplinary genres and collaborations with organisations in Frankfurt.

“[...] & Lovers” represents close artistic collaboration between Maj Lilith Hemmesmann, Anton Fuchs together with various artists. We are united by our interest in performances in public spaces that bring political issues such as space, coexistence and perception to life in a playful and entertaining way.
