WDC-Zug 2026

As part of the WDC ZUG 2026 project idea, various carriages with sustainable and responsible content are being developed that can be individually connected.

The ZUG project focuses on the shared use of mobile spaces that are responsible, sustainable, experimental and, based on current habits, not necessarily found on a train. As a sustainable means of transport, the ZUG connects places, people, encounters and landscapes into a community of all those who use it. The project responds to current issues of mobile working, living and housing, sustainable travel and discovery, further education, research and much more. The project includes experimental spatial productions by students who will be working on it from the 2024 winter semester at the Department of Architecture at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
