Trail for all

A good trail is a flow experience. It’s meant to bring people into that “flow” – not only on the bike but already during the planning and building process. The trail is participatory, a trail for everyone. It’s not a niche project for hardcore bikers but an invitation to anyone who wants to create, ride, and maintain the trail together.

As part of WDC 2026, the forest will be enriched with another legal trail. The chosen location complements Wiesbaden’s only official trail so far, the Gravity Trail, which is at the other end of the forest and too challenging for many. Existing illegal structures can be integrated, and the route follows the natural landscape. This creates a space for people from Wiesbaden and the surrounding area to experiment, surpass themselves, and grow together. Planning and construction are collaborative – everyone contributes what they can. The goal is to share the joy of sport and nature, creating a lasting benefit for the local community.
