The Corner is Speaking

In a four-day workshop, participants work with Ukrainian artist Natalya Radünz to create an immersive art installation—a democratic corner—using their own words, thoughts, and images.

The Corner is Speaking gives children and young people a space to voice their thoughts, questions, and ideas. We talk about participation, living together, and democracy. We develop ideas for our neighborhood. We make our voices heard—in public space.

Together with artist Natalya Radünz and Kathrin Lang-Heinrich (an instructor at the Center for the Gifted), children explore democracy creatively. The children collaborate on a real exhibition project, developing messages about democratic values ​​and translating them into art. The installation consists of two panels set at a 90-degree angle; the outer sides feature powerful terms, while the inner sides incorporate mirrors and questions for reflection.

A holiday project for children aged 8–13.
