ALL CAPS Kulturagentur gUG / Tapefabrik Festival / taped! Meet-Up and Convention

taped! and Tapefabrik bring selected graffiti artists from the subculture at Schlachthof Wiesbaden. They will create a large-scale mural covering the side of the building.

The taped! Graffiti Special is an artistic urban project in public space and serves as a consciously placed cultural sign of life for Tapefabrik, one of Germany’s most important subcultural festivals for hip-hop and urban art culture. As the regular Tapefabrik edition cannot take place in 2026, this project makes the ongoing presence of the scene visible while simultaneously announcing the festival’s return in 2027.
On June 20, selected graffiti artists from across Germany will collaboratively create a large-scale mural on the exterior façade of Schlachthof Wiesbaden along the railway tracks. The location is intentionally chosen: for years, Schlachthof has been a cultural anchor for urban youth and subculture and is closely connected to the history of Tapefabrik. By working in public space, the project establishes a lasting visual intervention within the urban landscape and makes urban art accessible to a broad audience. Visitors are invited to attend and observe the creative process live on site.

ALL CAPS Kulturagentur gUG is a non-profit cultural organization and the organizer of the Tapefabrik Festival, one of Germany’s leading festivals for hip-hop and urban culture. Through formats such as the taped! Meet-Up and Convention, ALL CAPS develops year-round projects that promote urban art, cultural participation, and subcultural communities. The taped! Graffiti Special is realized in collaboration with the Tapefabrik network and artists from the German graffiti scene.
