The central focus of the project is the practice of beginner's mind (a fresh perspective on familiar things), the development of resonance, and the strengthening of practical imagination in a collaborative, experience-oriented learning setting in public space.
Based on professional methods from the accompaniment of transformation processes – which are not otherwise generally accessible – combined with perception and creative techniques, we explore and enliven our relationship with ourselves and with urban space.
The goals are: strengthening self-efficacy, perception and imagination, promoting sustainable creative impulses, discovering individual strengths, building trusting relationships, peer learning and empowerment through visibility and self-representation. The 6–9 workshop leaders contribute different concepts and methods, which are linked by a uniform framework. Each workshop ends with a moderated reflection session in which experiences are shared and explored together. This ‘harvest’ is documented as an interactive map on the project website – a sensory and creative representation of urban space in which every participant is also a co-creator.
Judith Ritter-Davis works as an organisational developer in the socio-cultural field with a focus on strategic future visioning. The project is being developed co-creatively with Gudrun Schnitzer & Rolf Birkholz (facilitation, coaching) and is being implemented in collaboration with Kunst- und Bewegungslabor e.V.
