St. Aposteln

The parish site St. Aposteln is a social and pastoral center of the Catholic parish in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. It serves as an open place of exchange and support, constantly rethinking how urban life; especially for and with people in disadvantaged situations; can be shaped and strengthened.

At St. Aposteln, the focus is on encounter and community. Regular activities such as the “Pommes Stand” and the “Clothing Café” create a welcoming atmosphere for conversation, connection, and enjoyment. The church remains open for quiet reflection and prayer. People with limited financial means are invited to use the clothing boutique and the community fridge. In addition, social counseling offers guidance on personal and financial matters. Through these diverse initiatives, St. Aposteln has become a vibrant place where solidarity, participation, and mutual respect are lived out in everyday life.
