see-Conference & see-Camp – Festival für Design und Demokratie

The see has been inviting international creatives from all disciplines to Wiesbaden for 20 years now and has become one of the most important interdisciplinary design conferences in Germany. Already confirmed for this year are, for example, Tobias Trübenbacher, who was awarded Newcomer Designer of the Year, the unconventional design team Holy Motors from Georgia, and the animation artist Deveroe. The conference will be opened with a keynote by the widely acclaimed philosopher Eva von Redecker.

After the inspiring talks on Saturday, the focus shifts to hands-on practice at the see Camp on 26 April 2026: speakers from the see Conference, committed experts and local initiatives will guide participants in taking action for a democratic and future-oriented way of living together.

The see is organised by the association Bilder der Zukunft e.V., which is founded on the belief that we only begin to work towards a liveable future once we are able to imagine it visually. For this reason, aesthetic and visual design plays a central role in both the see Conference and the see Camp.
