Rezepte für Zusammenhalt

Our project aims to strengthen active community life and integration in the Frankfurt region. In particular, we want to focus on the small towns around Frankfurt and bring together people with and without migration experience. A total of 7 cooking encounter events will take place, organized by a volunteer team of locals and migrants in collaboration with local stakeholders. Cooking as a shared activity provides an easy and welcoming way for people to get to know each other.

For 2026, we are planning 7 events. 4 will be held with our local partners on site, for example in community centers, shelters, or with (migrant) associations. The other 3 will be organized in our “HeimatKüche” in Frankfurt-Bockenheim. These events not only create spaces for interaction but also introduce participants to networks and opportunities for connection within the city.
