The Frankfurt-Offenbach Protestant Regional Association invites you to Bahnhofskino (Station Cinema) at the Weißfrauen Diakoniekirche on three summer evenings. Short films by young international filmmakers—many of whom studied at German film schools—will be screened. These films tell stories—sometimes entirely without dialogue—about life in multicultural cities, migration, coexistence, and new perspectives: at times humorous, at times thought-provoking, and always rooted in everyday life.

The program is complemented by historical silent films from Frankfurt that address issues such as housing shortages and unemployment. Live music—performed before the screenings and accompanying the silent films—creates a special atmosphere. Audiences can enjoy Persian, Afghan, Senegalese, and Colombian music prior to the screenings. The film program is suitable for the whole family.
