With the LeiseLounge, Frankfurt City Library has created an open retreat offering peace and quiet in the middle of the hectic city centre – in direct response to the wishes of its visitors.

In a participatory process involving citizens and young designers, a sustainable, multifunctional space is being created that adds a quiet, innovative facet to the lively library environment.
