Klassenräume von morgen

2026

AMD Akademie Mode & Design Wiesbaden

In the classroom of the future, space itself becomes a “third educator.” Learners shape their environment situationally, adapting it to their individual needs. The classroom transforms into a living space that promotes the “4Cs” – creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking – while also enabling sustainable and democratic learning.

This fluid concept of space is based on innovative furniture elements and spatial designs, developed collaboratively by pupils and students. Within the framework of the WDC project, prototypes will be created and tested in practice. A particular focus lies on how these design solutions influence both learning processes and social interaction within the classroom.
