Kelkheim kann’s – Straße der Vielfalt

Kelkheim kann’s – Straße der Vielfalt turns Frankfurter Straße into a meeting point for everyone. During the city festival in 2025 and 2026, local clubs and organisations will showcase what makes Kelkheim unique: its diversity and community spirit. There will be activities bringing together people from various cultures and art projects that stay in the city.

The aim is to make public space vibrant and inviting. A central element is dialogue – fostered through a Speakers’ Corner as well as the Sofa of Generations – spaces for participation and exchange that strengthen the urban community. Associations, organisations and cultural practitioners will present Kelkheim’s active life along the Street of Diversity. Particularly valuable is the inclusion of at least one inclusive activity that supports people with special needs and encourages integration through friendships. Artistically designed seating will be integrated into the city’s street furniture as sustainable elements, creating meeting points for togetherness.
