Impact! How do we act?

The exhibition shows works by students from the Design Department at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, which were developed in interdisciplinary teams and show how design can be used as a lever for social change.

It not only offers a glimpse into innovative, socially responsible design approaches, but also invites dialogue and reflection: How can we as designers maintain our ability to act and be effective in an increasingly complex world?

This makes the exhibition a lively meeting place for exchange and an expression of a common aspiration: we all bear responsibility, and it is no longer just a matter of talking, but of taking action.

The German Werkbund Hesse is an independent, non-profit association and part of the Federal Association of German Werkbünde. Its members from the fields of architecture, design, art and science include companies and individuals who are actively involved in shaping our living environment. Mainz University of Applied Sciences is a university for applied sciences that provides critical, creative and solution-oriented contributions to complex social issues.
