Hesse’s town centres and local centres are social hubs and multifunctional places to live, work and spend time – but what do they have to do with happiness?
It is precisely this question that the Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Affairs would like to explore with you, and so it invites you on 28 October to join a journey to the ‘city centre as a place of happiness’ at the Lokschuppen in Marburg.
Look forward to an inspiring day full of ideas for happiness, encounters and new perspectives for the city centre of tomorrow!
Join Hesse’s Minister for Economic Affairs, Kaweh Mansoori, on an interactive stroll through the city centre and discover how even small projects by committed urban innovators can make a big difference. Learn from Gina Schöler – freelance "Minister for Happiness and Well-being" – about new perspectives on liveable city centres, and discover why happiness is such a vital resource for the future development of city centres.
Through five varied themed tours, you’ll also gain insights into practical examples of successful urban development and get to know the city of Marburg from a new angle.
Register now and discover what "Babbelbänke", sports facilities and fortune cookies have to do with the city centre of the future.
We look forward to experiencing exciting expert insights and varied formats together with you, and to finding out how we can all contribute to making Hesse’s city centres places that make us all just a little bit happier!
