Hafen 26 – Zukünfte gestalten

The site in Offenbach Harbor, where construction of the “New HfG”—the new building of the Offenbach University of Art and Design—is set to begin in 2027, will be transformed into a temporary space for exchange, exploration, and a preview of the future campus. Landscape elements and flexible usage zones create an open, adaptable environment.

In the exhibition area, the Institute for Mobility Design at HfG will present selected exhibits exploring possible futures of mobility for a democratic society. Particular emphasis is placed on environmental sustainability, the integration of different modes of transport, and barrier-free access. Additional departments from the fields of art and design will also showcase their projects.

A range of events addressing the new university building, sustainable construction, and democratic uses of urban space will complement the program.
