Freitagsakademie
Starting in September 2026, the Freitagsakademie will invite people aged 16 and older to engage in collaborative artistic work in the new spaces of Atelier Goldstein. Every Friday, the studio will be open to anyone who wishes to be creatively active under the guidance of Goldstein’s artists.
In small groups, an intensive and open space for learning and artistic exchange emerges—one that values dialogue and individual forms of expression. The artists of Atelier Goldstein actively contribute their experiences, ideas, and perspectives.
The Freitagsakademie is part of the Goldstein Academy, within which artists also teach school classes, design workshops, and offer training sessions for educators. Each activity begins with the artists’ own work, which serves as a source of inspiration for collaborative and exploratory creation.
Atelier Goldstein is a place dedicated to the production of contemporary art. Founded in 2001, it represents artists whose access to art and its institutions is not a given. A specially developed model of individual artistic assistance enables these artists to strengthen, expand, and professionalize their unique visual languages.
With the Freitagsakademie, Atelier Goldstein opens its doors to the broader community, fostering creative potential regardless of educational background or life circumstances.
