Demokratie in Sand gemeißelt

Sand is an element that has the ability to create something new. Sand sculptures are an art form that has become a popular attraction in public spaces and city centres, encouraging people to participate in public life. Sand artists create sand sculptures on selected topics.

The project aims to make sand sculptures visible to citizens and visitors from July to September 2026 and to create a lasting understanding that shaping the future democratically is not a foregone conclusion, but must be achieved again and again.
