Demokratie braucht dich – Gesellschaft gemeinsam gestalten

In this course, you will reflect on what shapes your political stance – such as values, biography, and media – and learn how democracy and social cohesion function.

You will practice a fair culture of debate, even on heated topics, and discover ways to participate – from local initiatives and associations to municipal political engagement.

A highlight: in a moderated feedback session, you will see and hear yourself in discussions. This helps you recognize how you come across and refine your communication strategies. In doing so, you will strengthen key future skills such as democratic competence, teamwork, and constructive conflict resolution. In the end, it’s not about being “right” or “wrong,” but about developing dialogue skills and confidence in taking action.
