Wege zur gemeinschaftlichen Selbstverwaltung von Mietshäusern

When a block of flats is up for sale, residents are often faced with major questions: How can we prevent our home from becoming a target for property speculation? Is a collective purchase by the residents’ association a realistic option – even without substantial financial resources? And what models actually exist for taking over a building under self-management?

To gain some practical insight, we’ll visit the Krachmacher:innenVilla housing project, which demonstrates how communal living and self-managed structures can work in everyday life. On site, residents will share their experiences, their journey towards collective ownership and the challenges they’ve overcome.

After an introductory session with a presentation, we’ll head over to the Krachmacher:innenVilla together (a 30-minute walk or by public transport) and take a look at the housing project.
