The German Ecodesign Award Roadshow presents a selection of sustainable design approaches that, following a preliminary assessment by more than 50 environmental experts from the German Environment Agency and a advisory board of 34 experts, were ultimately recognized by an interdisciplinary jury.
From materials and products to digital services and innovative system solutions, the exhibition showcases award-winning and nominated projects that illustrate how design can contribute to resource efficiency, circularity, digital transformation, and societal innovation.
The vernissage will take place on October 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Following a welcome address by Advisory Board member Peter Post, the event's highlight will be a presentation by Levin Budihardjo Welim, introducing the project "Amber – AI Monitoring Device," which he developed alongside Emma Rahe at the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design (HfG).
