Verleihung des 10. Merck-Preis – Festivaleröffnung

As part of the Darmstadt Photography Days 2026, the Merck Prize will be awarded for the 10th time – a competition for contemporary photography with prize money of €10,000

The award will be presented at the Designhaus on Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt and honours outstanding photographic works that have been previously nominated by a jury. The award ceremony will take place on 24 April 2026 at 6 p.m. as part of the festival opening.
