the thing Magazine: Stop making content, start having ideas

In this workshop, the two founders of the thing Magazine, Nina Sieverding and Anton Rahlwes, will show how to develop social media content that expresses a clear attitude, creates tension, and truly tells a story.

Together, participants will explore how to structure digital stories, find suitable formats, and turn first ideas — even unfinished ones — into convincing concepts. Nina and Anton will share practical strategies from their own work while also responding to the participants’ prior knowledge, questions, and interests.

In their talk, Nina Sieverding and Anton Rahlwes offer insights into the world of “the thing.” They will speak about founding the thing Magazine and the thing Gallery, the everyday challenges of their work, and how they identify abstract topics and translate them into tangible media formats.
