Sustainable Fashion from Europe’s Trash

As part of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, CCBB invites you to an interdisciplinary community event bringing together fashion, music, and performance at international theater Frankfurt.

At the core of the evening is a fashion show by Ghanaian designer Austin Nortey, who works with upcycled materials sourced from European waste, addressing sustainability, global inequalities, and diasporic perspectives. The show is framed by a short interview offering insight into their artistic practice and vision. The night continues with live performances by mandhla. and ALYZAH, followed by DJ sets from Flocka Lo, Sonia Mystik and Sherryaeri, turning the space into a party.

The event will be supported by an awareness team. The collective provides its own awareness guidelines for “safer space” events. Booty Bounce is a safer space centering queer BIPoC FLINTA* communities, focused on empowerment, visibility, and collective joy. Allies are welcome as long as they engage respectfully and with care.

Booty Bounce is a project by the queer BIPoC FLINTA* collective Crémant. Cava. Booty Bounce from Frankfurt. Its aim is to increase representation, create safe spaces and encourage dialogue. Since 2021, the collective has been organising events that have been very well received. The project is supported by Ora da! e.V., an intercultural association that carries out educational and cultural work and combats marginalisation.
