Superblock – a car-free day… right in the heart of the neighborhood.
Under shady trees and together with locals: on Marcobrunner Straße, temporarily closed to cars, there's once again "Breakfast on the Street," pizza cooked in a community oven, unplugged music, flea market stalls, cultural events, and lots of handmade goods. Among those participating are SoLaWi (Community Supported Agriculture), the Climate Café/Wiesbaden Environmental Office, the information booth of the Senior Citizens' Advisory Center/Social Services Office, and the "Stiller Zug" chess club… all to experience the open, urban space together as a vibrant, neighborhood hub for conversation, exchange, and culture, complete with a sofa and chair right outside your door. The Social Services Office presents the WDC project "On Your Marks and Get Set" – complete with a KIEZi backpack and KIEZi workbook – which helps children become explorers of their own neighborhood.
