Typefaces move people. They convey our messages. With urgency. With emotion. Loudly and in color. Now!

The typefaces shown here carry a piece of Frankfurt within them. As part of a seminar at the HfG Offenbach, visual fragments were captured around the city and incorporated into the typeface design. “Posters are the glue that holds the city together.” (loosely based on a quote from the Dutch design studio Experimental Jetset)

When used in political posters, they become vehicles for messages that strengthen our common good. They are brought back into the city, and initiatives are provided with them as a medium to voice their concerns.
