The Network of Cities Meeting provides regional decision-makers with an exclusive first look at the results of WDC 2026—and brings them into direct dialogue with other World Design Capitals.
What remains of a World Design Capital year? At the heart of the meeting is a joint legacy audit: former host cities will share what from their programmes has become permanent—from institutions and networks to political strategies. The results of an international survey among World Design Capitals regarding the long-term impact of the title will also be presented. For the region, the meeting offers an opportunity to contextualise its own results in international comparison—before the Design Action Plan Frankfurt RheinMain is presented at St Paul’s Church in the afternoon.
