WDC 2026 & Museum Angewandte Kunst

...

Movement, encounter, and sound come together during the Night of the Museums to create a unique experience.

Ping Pong Park brings playful energy to the WDC Hub with its individually designed table tennis tables, while live performances open up immersive sonic landscapes. The program is complemented by the WDC signature drink “The Companion”, specially created for World Design Capital 2026 by IMA Clique (Shuka Bar) as part of the Drinks for Democracy series.

It also features LOOMCYCLE, a mobile weaving loom that makes collaborative creation visible and tangible.

In this way, the WDC Hub and the Museum transform during the Night of the Museums into a vibrant space of community—with the WDC signature drink, table tennis, exhibitions, performances, and sparkling string lights. An evening that shows how design connects people.
