The participation offer “Lifelong learning – self-management, crisis management, and enjoyment orientation in old age” consists of four four-part memory training workshops. The topic “active management of one's own well-being in old age” is on the agenda every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The four meetings will consist of discussions, ideas, and entertaining brain teasers. Up to 16 participants interested in lifelong learning can gather in the barrier-free reading room of the Eltville Media Library to reflect together on visions of life in old age while training their brains and receiving inspiration for self-reflection. The work will take place in a relaxed atmosphere, without any pressure to perform – alternately individually, in pairs, or together in a group.

The workshops are offered free of charge at the Eltville Mediathek. The dates for the first series of workshops are May 8, 15, 22, and 29. To register, please send an email with your name, place of residence, age, and telephone number to inga.olze@web.de. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The project partner Eltviller Mediathek, a socio-cultural meeting and educational venue in the city centre, offers an exceptional and inspiring workshop atmosphere in its beautiful reading room, which is accessible to all.

The programme is free of charge and is aimed at active senior citizens who are interested in exchange.

Lifelong learning, psychology, and thought processes for retired people are the focus of the work of independent memory trainer Inga Olze. With a mix of targeted brain training exercises, mindfulness prompts, and exercises that optimize self-management, she challenges and encourages seniors and inspires them to think outside the box.
