GündiWest X studio formagora: Collective Building for a Solidarity-Based Space.

Together, we are constructing a food-sharing station on the grounds of the GündiWest housing project. Here, food donations from Tafel will be sorted and distributed to residents and Foodsharing Höchst. Using mostly reclaimed and rescued materials, we are building the furniture and infrastructure for this space.

As designers, we want to make conscious choices about who we work for. Central to this project is our dedication to enhancing a space rooted in solidarity. Using co-design and participatory layout methods, we have mapped out the needs, workflows, zoning, and functions of the space, and are now moving into the detailed development of our designs. We will put our collective planning into action during the Module Festival on the Bockenheim Campus.
