Building on the exhibition On Display: How Graphic Design Shapes Us, this workshop invites participants to explore graphic design hands-on.
During the session, participants will collect, cut, draw, print, combine, and reassemble elements. The focus is less on “correct” design and more on experimenting with different visual languages and exploring what emerges when we step away from familiar ways of seeing and designing.
The workshop combines inspiration from the exhibition with ample time for hands-on work. Various analog techniques – such as collage, drawing, printing, and the combination of images and text – will be introduced and can be further developed individually. Participants are welcome to bring their own themes and materials or draw inspiration from the exercises and the exhibition.
