DemocracyKiosks with Young Urban Future Labs – for greater democratic participation in Frankfurt/Rhein-Main
At 15 kiosks, people will come together to get creative. In the lead-up, young people will be involved through the “DemocracyCargoBike” in 30 Young Urban Future Labs. Starting in May, 120 artistic dialogue formats for all generations will take place at the DemocracyKiosks, offering opportunities to help shape democracy.
Circular Citizens of Wiesbaden
This project aims to transform Wiesbaden into a circular city by better connecting existing actors from the citizens’ perspective – from retail and repair to re-use and waste management. Through intelligent design, these services will become more visible and easier to access.
Learn & Burn 2026
The Women of DDC (German Design Club) will host a conference in May 2026 in collaboration with international women’s networks in the creative industries. In talks and workshops, participants will explore how women* can gain more participation and decision-making power in shaping our everyday environments.
I:HUB – Community and Diversity for a New Way of Living Together
I:HUB is a holistic and innovative concept for people with and without disabilities, combining affordable housing, work, care, nursing, community engagement, and mobility to promote inclusive participation in society.
WIConnect
At several locations in Wiesbaden, residents will vote on site-specific questions by throwing paper waste into one of three tubes – each representing an answer option. The option receiving the most votes will be implemented.
Smart Green Box
The “Smart Green Box” represents an energy-autonomous, sustainably produced micro-house designed as a temporary shelter. Equipped with intuitive smart-home and smart-communication technology, it connects residents with society and cultural life.
