The tour takes visitors onto the grounds of the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre. It is the only building to date designed by the architect Ferdinand Kramer to have undergone extensive renovation whilst remaining largely true to the original.

This has resulted in a sustainable revitalisation of this architectural legacy from the 1950s. The research centre is also surrounded by an extremely diverse garden, which provides a green contrast to the building’s austere design. It is a fine example of sustainable building set amidst natural greenery, which can be explored during this guided tour. In cooperation with the Senckenberg Society for Nature Research
