Application: Sonderedition Hessischer Gestaltungspreis 2026

The Hessian Design Award honors the work of Hessian craftspeople and designers who stand out for their exceptional design expertise. The award seeks innovative objects that implement forward-thinking ideas and are crafted with appropriate materials and functionality. The prize is awarded every two years by the Working Group of Hessian Chambers of Crafts (ARGE) and financially supported by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transportation, Housing, and Rural Affairs.

In 2026, a special edition of the Hessian Design Award will take place, organized by the Frankfurt-Rhein-Main Chamber of Crafts in cooperation with World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026. As part of this special edition, designers are now also eligible to participate for the first time.
